Tradier
Trade stocks and options up to 4 legs at Tradier. Live accounts connect by broker sign-in; paper uses Tradier Sandbox credentials.
A paper account is a Tradier Sandbox account, connected with its account number and access token from developer.tradier.com. The Tradier setup guide has every step for both.
Order types
Nyria sends Tradier market and limit orders, for entries and exits. A spread goes as one order for all its legs: at a limit, it's priced as a net debit or credit. Nyria doesn't place stop or stop-limit orders. Exits come from exit alerts.
Day and Good till canceled go to Tradier as set. Tradier has no fill or kill, so a strategy set to Fill or kill sends Day.
Margin
Tradier sets the margin and buying power rules. Leave room for exits as well as entries: closing a credit spread costs money.
Limitations
- No fractional shares
- Options in whole contracts only
Troubleshooting
"Invalid option symbol"
Tradier doesn't list that contract. Check the strike and expiration in Tradier's option chain.
"Market closed"
Tradier restricts market orders outside regular hours. Turn on Limit trading hours on the strategy to keep entries inside them.
