Trade stocks and options up to 4 legs at tastytrade, connected through its own sign-in. Live accounts only. Its API has crypto disabled.

Cryptocurrency trading is disabled through tastytrade's API (its developer release notes, 29 June 2026), so Nyria can't place crypto orders there.
Order types
- Market and limit orders, for entries and exits
- A spread as one order for all its legs: at a limit, it's priced as a net debit or credit
- No stop or stop-limit orders. Exits come from exit alerts.
Day and Good till canceled go to tastytrade as set. tastytrade has no fill or kill, so a strategy set to Fill or kill sends Day.
Position sizing
- Stocks: whole shares
- Options: whole contracts only
Margin
tastytrade sets the margin and buying power rules. Leave room for exits as well as entries: closing a credit spread costs money.
Troubleshooting
Crypto alerts fail with "crypto unavailable"
Cryptocurrency trading is disabled through tastytrade's API (its developer release notes, 29 June 2026), so a crypto strategy can no longer be deployed to a tastytrade account. A bot that receives a crypto alert fails the entry with the notice "crypto unavailable", pointing to Nyria Paper or Alpaca for crypto.
"Invalid option symbol"
tastytrade doesn't list that contract, usually because the strike doesn't exist for that expiration. Check tastytrade's option chain.
