Sell your strategies on Whop
Sell access to your strategies through your own Whop account. Nyria bills you at the end of each month, by member and tier.
Connect your Whop company, link Whop products to a Premium strategy, and members who sign in to Nyria with Whop get access to the strategies their product covers.
Selling on your own Whop needs a creator plan. If you'd rather not run your own checkout, sell through Nyria instead. Members pay Nyria, and Nyria pays your share out through Stripe.
Set it up
1. Connect your Whop company
There's no API key to create. Nyria confirms you own the company from your Whop sign-in and the installed Nyria app, so do those two things first.
- Sign in to Nyria with Whop. If you skip this, linking fails with
Sign in with Whop first, then link your company. - Install the Nyria app on your Whop company from the Whop App Store. If you skip this, linking fails with
Install the Nyria app on that Whop company first, then link it. - Select Integrations in the left sidebar.
- Under Third-party integrations, find Whop sales and select Connect.
- In Connect Whop company, paste your Whop company ID (it starts with
biz_) and select Connect Whop.
2. Create a Premium strategy and add products
- When you create the strategy, set its access level to Premium and finish the setup.
- On the strategy page, open the ⋯ menu and select Manage pricing, then Whop.
- Select Create a product, or Link an existing product if it's already on your Whop company.
- Set the product's Total entry allocation. That's what each member buys with it.
If you don't have a creator plan yet, Manage pricing offers Start creator plan first.
3. Link Whop products
A strategy can have more than one Whop product, and each linked product grants access by itself. Add or remove products from Manage pricing in the strategy's ⋯ menu.
Products and prices
When you create a product in Manage pricing, you set its Product name, Price and Currency (USD, EUR or GBP), Billing (Monthly, Yearly or One-time) and Total entry allocation.
After you save, the dialog shows the Payment link to share with buyers. Your prices also show on the strategy's public page.
To sell tiers, link one product per tier. For example:
- Basic: $99/mo, $10,000 total entry allocation
- Plus: $199/mo, $20,000 total entry allocation, plus your private Discord
Both give access to the strategy. Put anything extra a tier includes in its Whop product description.
What members do
A member subscribes to your Whop product, then signs in to Nyria with Whop. The strategy shows in their strategy list, and they deploy a bot to copy your alerts.
How access is kept in sync
Nyria re-checks Whop on a schedule. Access turns on when someone subscribes, stays on through renewals, and turns off when the subscription ends.
To see who has access, open the strategy's ⋯ menu and select View members. Each row shows the member, the product that gave them access, their subscription status and when access started.
What Nyria charges
Setting up and testing costs nothing. Members pay you through Whop, and Whop pays you directly.
Nyria bills you at the end of each month for the members subscribed to your strategies that month: $50 a month per member for each $10,000 of total entry allocation their tier allows, rounded up to the next $10,000. You're billed for a member once they claim access in Nyria by signing in with Whop. A member on a $25,000 tier counts as $30,000, so you're billed $150 for them. Price each product above its tier's fee.
Compliance
You're responsible for following financial regulations when you sell access to a strategy. State the risks in your product descriptions and don't promise returns.
Troubleshooting
"Sign in with Whop first, then link your company"
Sign in to Nyria with Whop so Nyria can match your Whop account to the company, then link the company again.
"Install the Nyria app on that Whop company first"
Install the Nyria app on that company from the Whop App Store, then link it again.
No products found
Link an existing product lists the products on the Whop company you connected. If yours is missing, you probably connected a different company.
A member doesn't get access
Check these in order:
- The member signed in to Nyria with Whop, not with email.
- The subscription is active in Whop.
- The product is linked to the strategy in Manage pricing.
- A few minutes have passed since they subscribed, so access has synced.
